This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is between Greater Potential Tutoring ("GPT"), a tutoring institution registered in Trinidad and Tobago, and any person who enrolls in GPT's live online tutoring for CSEC and CAPE examinations and/or access to previous class recordings ("Student").
The Student agrees to pay all fees associated with GPT’s tutoring services upon enrollment. Payments are due within the first week of joining the classes. A grace period will be granted until the end of the first month after enrollment, after which any unpaid fees shall be considered outstanding. Installment payments are permitted; however, all fees must be settled by the 7th day of each month. Any fees unpaid after this date will be considered a debt owed.
GPT reserves the right to withhold services, including access to live and recorded sessions, for Students with outstanding debts.
By enrolling in GPT's tutoring services, the Student agrees to receive service-related communications (such as class reminders, payment notifications, updates, and support) via WhatsApp and other contact methods provided during enrollment. All WhatsApp communications will comply with WhatsApp's Business and Commerce Policies and applicable privacy regulations. The Student's contact information will be used solely for the purposes of delivering tutoring services, facilitating communication, and providing support. The Student may opt out of non-essential WhatsApp communications at any time by replying “STOP” or following the instructions provided in messages. GPT will not share, sell, or rent Student contact information to third parties for marketing purposes. Communication with third parties (such as payment processors or debt collectors) will occur only as required to fulfill contractual obligations or comply with the law.
GPT will take all actions to recover outstanding debts in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, including but not limited to the Trinidad and Tobago Constitution. Any actions taken by GPT to recover outstanding debts shall be in compliance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, including the provisions of the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Proceedings Rules and the Debt Collection Act, which govern legal proceedings and debt collection in Trinidad and Tobago, respectively. If the outstanding debt remains unpaid despite the aforementioned remedies, GPT reserves the right to refer the matter to a debt collection agency. The cost of debt collection, including any legal fees, will be borne by the debtor. GPT will not be liable for any actions or omissions of the debt collection agency in the collection of the debt.
GPT is committed to protecting the privacy and security of Student data in accordance with the Data Protection Act of Trinidad and Tobago and WhatsApp's privacy standards. Personal information will be handled securely and only for the duration necessary to provide services or as required by law. For more information about how data is collected, used, and protected, please refer to GPT's [Privacy Policy].
GPT may take reasonable steps, including referring debts to a collection agency, to recover any outstanding amounts, in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. The costs of such recovery, including legal and collection agency fees, shall be borne by the Student. GPT is not liable for actions or omissions of debt collection agencies.
